Welcome to Bear Hunt X

The 2010 Bear Hunt Committee extends to you an invitation to join us for our 10^th anniversary, April 29 - May 2, 2010 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for Bear Hunt 2010 - Next Generation hosted by the Carolina Bear Lodge!

Our team hopes you will be joining us at Carolina Bear Lodge's Bear Hunt 2010, a weekend filled with fun, set to a Star Trek theme!  If this is your first time joining us at Bear Hunt, it is our hope you will take time to enjoy the warm waters and sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean's Grand Strand!

Bear Hunt 2010 is for registered attendees only.  There will be no packages sold at the door. Our goal is to give those who are registered a great weekend, thus guests not pre-registered will not have access to the event venue.  We would like to thank the Viking management for providing security for this year's event.  By registering you agree that you will not allow unregistered guests on the Viking Motel property.  All rooms at the Viking must be occupied by registered attendees only.  All others will be asked to leave immediately.

We are constantly adding activities for those who will be joining us for Bear Hunt 2010.  Here are just a few on our list for this year:

• Miniature Golf Tournament
• Bocce Tournament on the beach
• Sandsculpting Competition
• Star Trek Themed Window Decorating Contest (Viking Hotel Only)
• Movies on the Holodeck
• Afternoons spent Risa-style...lounging by the pool or out on the beach...socializing with the guests...and enjoying some Romulan Ale.
• Evening parties at Ten Forward with lights, DJ spinning dance music, and open bar.
• Saturday evening we'll host a Star Trek costume party! All guests will be issued a Star Trek uniform shirt (selected during registration) and communicator. Wear the uniform, or design your own!

All of our hotels are just minutes from Myrtle Beach International Airport by taxi or rental vehicle.
